PDF Format: These are the Soil Surveys delivered in CD-ROM formats. These files are large and we recommend a fast Internet connection. To order a CD-ROM or Book from NRCS please contact the Texas State Soil Scientist Mr. Mike Risinger. Submit your name, address, which survey(s) you are requesting and the format (CD-ROM or Book) and your order will be mailed to you free of charge.

Soils GIS Data: The most recent SSURGO data is housed on the Soil Data Mart. Select a county will link you directly to the Soil Data Mart download page. The download format is SSURGO version 2.
